Science, Technology and Cells, Oh My!

Mrs. Samples' and Mrs. Cantrell's science classes have innovatively merged biology with technology by having students create detailed 3D models of plant and animal cells. This project involved students designing their models in class, which were brought to life through 3D printing. Digital Learning Specialist Chris Fuller helped to facilitate the lesson.

2024 Banks County Spelling Bee: Recognizing the Champions

The 2024 Banks County Spelling Bee, held on January 17th at the Banks County Board of Education, featured impressive spelling skills among contestants. Jackson Chapman, a 6th grader, emerged as the Banks County Schools system winner. The runner-up was 4th grader Oliver McFaddin.
