The September edition of A Minute at the Middle is here!
Check out the latest updates from Banks County Middle School, including Teacher & Staff of the Year recognitions, upcoming events, athletics, and important reminders for families.

Help A Child Smile will be visiting Banks County Schools in September to provide on-site dental care for students. Parents can enroll their child quickly and easily by completing the online consent form for their school.

Each Thursday, members of the Banks County Middle School Interact Club gather to make a difference in the lives of their fellow students. With energy and teamwork, the club packs more than 100 Food2Kids bags filled with kid-friendly, nutritious food.

Banks County Schools is partnering with the Georgia Department of Education and Parent ProTech to give ALL parents FREE access to powerful tools that help kids use technology safely and responsibly.

In response to new state legislation (HB 340) and the negative impact cell phones and other personal electronic devices have on student learning, Banks County Board of Education is establishing a policy prohibiting the use of all personal electronic devices by students in grades K-12 from the first bell at the start of school each morning to the last dismissal bell at the end of the school day.

Banks County Schools is currently pausing the Annual Student Record Update process for the 2025–2026 school year. This temporary pause is necessary to allow time for updates to all student handbooks in order to reflect recent changes to state laws.
