Banks County Middle School was recently honored by district leaders for exceptional academic performance during the 2023-2024 school year

It is that time again! We are hosting our Peanut Butter Food Drive at all of our schools. Students can donate peanut butter jars to their homeroom teachers.

The Banks County School System Spelling Bee was held at the Banks County Board of Education on January 31, 2025. Students from various grade levels demonstrated their impressive spelling skills. After several intense rounds of competition, Jaydee Paramo emerged as the system winner, with Jackson Chapman claiming the Runner-Up spot. The competition featured standout performances from several other students, including participants Declan Evans, Sawyer Minish, Ace Xiong, Logan Couch, Julissa Castaneda De La Cruz, Eden Bless, and Jackson Pearce.

Banks County 4-H Archery Team members showcased their talent and hard work at the 4-H State Indoor Archery Tournament on January 18, 2025, in Perry, Georgia. This competition brought together over 750 archers from across the state, and our Banks County competitors demonstrated outstanding skill and dedication.

All students and parents of ESOL K-12 students are invited to attend Parent Night on February 4, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Banks County Middle School.

We are excited to announce that the Help A Child Smile mobile dental team will visit our schools this spring to provide students with their 6-month dental check-ups.

Banks County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, Jan. 14. Buses will operate 2 hours later than the normally scheduled pick-up time.

Banks County Schools will be closed on Friday, January 10, due to the predicted inclement weather. All activities will be cancelled for the day. Please stay safe. In preparation for the inclement weather, we would like to remind our families that Banks County Schools has a food pantry available for any family experiencing food insecurities. If you have an immediate need, please reach out to your child’s school at this time for assistance.
