Red Ribbon Week

Banks County Middle School will host RED RIBBON WEEK from October 24th-October 28th.

Red Ribbon week is the nation's largest and longest-running drug-use prevention campaign. Schools across the country wear Red Ribbons and participate in activities to raise awareness.
Monday – Oct. 24th – Camo Day – Hide from Drugs – Wear Camouflage Clothing
Tuesday – Oct. 25th – Pajama Day – Don’t be caught sleeping; say No to Drugs! – Wear Appropriate Pajamas – No Blankets or Slippers!
Wednesday – Oct. 26th – Walt Disney Wednesday – Disney Characters – Make Life Magical Without Drugs – Wear favorite Disney Attire
Thursday – Oct. 27th – Cowboy Day – Give Drugs the Boot! - Wear Cowboy Clothing
Friday – Oct. 28th - Team Day – Team Up Against Drugs! – Wear your favorite team’s shirt/jersey.
Please follow dress code guidelines. (no face paint or costumes).
Connectivity Program

Affordable Connectivity Program

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), administered by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), provides eligible low-income households with a $30 monthly subsidy for broadband service. School districts may request any combination of the below options provided by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) and conducted by CTC Technology & Energy (CTC) to promote ACP enrollment for students and their families.

Banks County Middle School Soccer Information

If you are a student interested in playing soccer, please complete an updated insurance form and have a current physical form on file with the school. All documents must be turned in to the front office before any student-athlete can participate.

Dates for Conditioning on the following dates from 3:30-5:30:
October 24th,25th,26th,&31st, and November 1st,2nd, and 3rd.
Try-outs are on the following dates from 3:30-5:30:
November 7th,8th,9th &10th
Please bring in cleats, shin guards, and a water bottle to practice each day.
