Our Back-to-School Guide is here to help new and returning families prepare for a smooth start to the year. The guide includes important information about registration, school schedules, transportation, meals, communication tools, summer updates, and other helpful resources.

We will continue to update this guide throughout the summer, so please check back often. Families are also encouraged to stay connected through our school websites, district website, social media pages, and the Banks County Schools app.

Banks County Seamless Summer Program will offer summer meals at no cost for children ages 18 and under during the month of June. Families may pick up breakfast and lunch at designated locations while supplies are available.

Banks County School System is excited to share information about several summer camp opportunities for students. Camps include golf, soccer, softball, girls basketball, cheer, baseball, and YMCA summer camp options.

Families should review the camp information carefully for dates, times, costs, locations, and contact information. Please see the individual camp fliers for QR codes and registration details. For questions, please contact the camp sponsor listed for each camp.

State School Superintendent Richard Woods visited Banks County High School this morning to present state recognition banners celebrating the academic success of Banks County High School and Banks County Middle School. These recognitions highlight outstanding achievement and growth in literacy and math, including honors for BCHS, BCMS, and BCMS being named a Title I Reward School among the top 5% in Georgia for academic achievement and student growth.

The Banks County Board of Education recently selected Michael Williams, the district’s Secondary Curriculum Director, as the sole finalist to become the next superintendent of Banks County Schools.
