Congratulations to our August and September Students of the Month at Banks County Middle School!

We are excited to announce our 8th-grade Students of the Month for August.
Logan Ferguson, Dalyce Parker, Leah Ochoa, Keldon Smith, Essie Cantrell, Mason Caudell, Kyson Nesbitt, and Raegan Davis.

These exceptional students have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to their studies and have showcased their leadership qualities in and outside the classroom. Their hard work and dedication are shining examples for us all.

Banks County Middle School ENT Team Advances to State!

Congratulations to our BCMS ENR Team for advancing to the December state competition.

Banks County Middle School Visits North Georgia Technical College

Banks County Middle School students participated in Color Wars at North Georgia Technical College in Clarkesville. Students were able to preview the academic programs offered at NGTC based on their interests.

This school year, Banks County Schools launched a new initiative to strengthen student achievement in our schools. The system will spotlight several teachers who demonstrate exceptional best practices and student success.

Our first Spotlight teacher is Mrs. Stephanie Kinsey from Banks County Middle School.

Banks County Schools Announce Teachers of the Year and Staff Person of the Year

The Banks County School system is thrilled to reveal the outstanding educators selected as the Teacher of the Year and Classified Person of the Year at each school. These teachers and staff members have demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and passion for education, significantly impacting our students' lives.

Student Aubrey Shirley and Mrs. Angie Austin Honored

Aubree Shirley was chosen as the BCMS Rotary Student of the Month, and Mrs. Angie Austin was selected as Teacher of the Month. Ivie Funeral Home transported both to the Banks County Weekly Rotary meeting, where they were honored for their accomplishment.
