Clear Touch visited Banks County School District to see firsthand how Clear Touch interactive panels are being used in classrooms and learning spaces each day. The feature showcases how these panels have become more than just classroom technology. They are helping teachers create engaging lessons, giving students more visual and interactive learning opportunities, and supporting consistent communication during safety situations.
As part of the feature, Banks County fifth-grade student Hudson Jordan shared how the Clear Touch panel has helped him as a visual learner. He explained that being able to see information clearly and interact with the lesson makes learning easier and more meaningful. The article also highlighted how Clear Touch panels, along with the Centegix safety integration, help provide real-time emergency notifications to panels across campus when needed.
The story also featured Coach Josh Schumaker, physical education teacher at Banks County Primary School, who uses his Clear Touch panel in the gym to keep students engaged and organized. From timers and music to videos and cross-curricular activities, the panel helps create structure and excitement in a fast-moving learning environment.
This districtwide implementation was made possible through the support of the Banks County Board of Education and a thoughtful pilot process that allowed teachers to experience the technology before selecting Clear Touch as the best fit for our classrooms. Today, Clear Touch panels are used throughout Banks County Schools to support instruction, encourage student participation, and help create modern learning environments.
“We are thankful for the continued support of our Board of Education as we work to provide tools that help our teachers teach, and our students learn,” said Angie Bowen, Digital Literacy Coordinator for Banks County Schools. “Our teachers have embraced this technology in creative and meaningful ways, and it is exciting to see Banks County Schools recognized for the work happening in our classrooms.”
Banks County Schools remains committed to providing learning environments where students are engaged, supported, and prepared for the future. The Clear Touch feature is another example of how our system continues to focus on innovation, safety, and student success.
